The National Wildlife Federation's Butterfly Heroes™ program is bringing awareness to the declining monarch butterfly population and connecting gardeners, children, and families alike in helping this species and other pollinators thrive. Creating a garden is a perfect way to add beauty, enjoy nature and invite visitors to observe things like butterflies, birds and bees. However, many butterflies, like the iconic monarch butterfly are in trouble, but C.C. Moss Elementary is coming to their rescue.
